it stinks how your mom wont let you get another piggie...I hate it when parents act like they know everything about their child's pet, when they know absolutely nothing...-sigh-

I know, its mainly because when we did get another boy guinea pig they started to fight, and it was a 2 hour drive to take him back, so she thinks that bazil will fight all of the guinea pigs that come lol.

lol. Well, its like humans. Guinea Pigs get along with most, but just cant stand some. You just need to experiment. =]

i know how you feel, hopefully you can get a new piggie.
we had 11 pigs (we bred our first two) and my mom made me sell some of them. we kept six. this was like 6 years ago, and so since then, they have all crossed the rainbow bridge except for party. but, we found out my brother is allergic, so no more can come inm (there is no way id ever give up party!) so now im looking at rabbits..

I've heardl that fleece makes a good, soft bedding for pigs...and it's reusable and inexpensive when you buy at the fabric store...change it out once every couple days, and at the end of the week wash it all....that's what I'll be doing...it just seems more economical, and any way I can save is a good thing!
